Heart of Our Profession 

With a mission to support programs and services that promote osteopathic medicine and enhance patient centered care, the American Osteopathic Foundation is the only 501c3 charitable organization that supports the whole profession. 

Over more than 75 years the AOF has provided thousands of grants, scholarships, and awards to the osteopathic community. 

The AOF walks hand in hand with osteopathic physicians throughout their career journey, from pre-medicine to leaving a legacy after clinical practice.   

Pay it Forward 

As a third-generation DO, it's not lost on Seger S. Morris, DO that the osteopathic profession has opened doors of opportunity for generations. The AOF helped elevate Dr. Morris' impact by recognizing him as the State Emerging Leader for Mississippi in 2019. He now seeks to pay it forward through service to the organization and financially supporting its programs. He serves on the board of directors since 2020 and is the 2026 president-elect.
